Families Can by Dan Saks. “A rhyming, light-hearted celebration of the wonderful differences that make each family unique.”

This one is my all time favorite. The illustrations are awesome and the sentiments are so lovely. We also have allll of Dan Saks’ other books with the pre-orders on DECK.

Kindness Makes Us Strong by Sophie Beer. “This bright book by the creator of Love Makes a Family celebrates acts of kindness big and small.”

A quick one so it’s way easy for bedtime. I love telling Bucky about all the kind things we can do for others and this one is super easy for him to remember all the words to! We also love “Love Makes A Family” by the same author.

A Kissing Hand for Chester Raccoon by Aubrey Penn “A Kissing Hand for Chester Raccoon conveys the heart of the story in rhyming verse, perfect for read-aloud and easy for even the little ones to remember and recite”

Ugh, I love this one more than Bucky does. I dubbed the raccoon Bucky’s animal when he was cooking so it was a 1-click purchase for surchase. It’s so sweet, and I am fingers crossed hoping it will help him when school time comes!

Dolls And Trucks Are For Everyone by Robb Pearlman. “From the author and illustrator of Pink Is for Boys comes an empowering board book that teaches kids and adults alike that gender cannot define who you are or want to become.”

Say it with me now! IN 👏🏽 CLU 👏🏽 SIV 👏🏽 IT 👏🏽 Y 👏🏽. “Inclusivity is for boys, girls and anyone who wants to not be a turd” - a real review (by me)

Where Are You, Puffling? by Erika McGann & Gerry Daly. “A puffling has gone in search of adventure - now her puffin parents can't find her anywhere”

We got this one in Ireland! If you’ve ever seen Puffin Rock, you’ll be into this one. Bucky’s favorite part is to ~le scream~ WHAAAAAAAAAALES when we get to the whale page.
